Summary: I’ve been working on making a persuasive argument about polar bears invading the united states for some time now, o think I have enough knowledge on the appropriate subjects to finally get started (also i’m taking composition 2 next semester so it’ll make a good warm up.
Basic outline
Intro
Paragraph 1: what do polar bears do when they escape from zoos? Maul people, think what would happen if there were 20,000 of them armed to the teeth.
Paragraph 2: the little ice age/global warming, with the polar bears natural habitat being destroyed and food becoming exceedingly scarce the polar bears will be forced to take to the sea in search of food, much like the current problem of pirates based in Somalia, and the Vikings that used to terrorize Europe when their farms failed.
Paragraph 3: the united states and europeon union will see the growing risk the newly formed polar bear empire presents and take a appeasement approach to this new threat, giving this empire access to key strategic resources needed to make AK-47s, polar bears favorite weapon.
A few more points, I don’t know right now what they are, but they will be there.
Conclusion: the world is only one continent away from destruction. The best course of action would be to attempt to adopt a “Ellis Island” approach and integrate them into regular, law-biding citizens.
